  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Mary Lane is part of Baystate Medical Center based in Springfield, MA. The Mary Lane campus Emergency department is a good place to work. I was told during my interview that I would have rotating shifts, but I have been on nights which is a great shift to work, good crew. I did have some difficulty with Baystate and their pre-employment screening with a FIT test screen, to the extent that Baystate was going to move my start date up another 2 weeks (grumble). Luckily my QA person at my company was able to get everything squared away, and I was able to start on time. I do have some issues with the ED patient ratio, I have been up to 6:1, but the ancillary staff is there to follow through with patient orders, i.e.: lab draws, splinting and crutch training, ect... 07/03/2014
  • Housing was approximately 35 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was found my own housing. Housing was located in city of Southampton. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. .
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Hospital ER director hired me for days, but when I arrived, I was on overnights so I cut my contract off at 5 weeks-they would not change me back to days. The good news is that person has left. I would work here again, the staff are awesome (except Lynn, who left). 04/13/2014
