  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Very small town. No shopping stores in town other than Walmart. 11/27/2018
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was unknown. Housing was located in city of Riverton. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Very old duplex with broken blinds, no dishwasher, paint peeling.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. I was hired for day shift and was moved all over the place, days, mids and nights. Sometimes all three shifts in 1 week. The staff is amazing, the manager who is gone now was horrible. If you love the outdoors it is heaven! If you like city life, don't go. Travelers are often expected to work at both hospitals Lander and Riverton so be prepared to travel the 26 miles between the two. 09/12/2017
  • Housing was approximately 26 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Housing is difficult, easier to take company housing. Housing was located in city of Lander. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I have family there so housing was easier, but its difficult and expensive in this area to find housing
  • Housing is difficult to find. Mostly regular hotel rooms, no extended stays in the area. 08/04/2013
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Motel 6. Housing was located in city of Riverton. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. I worked in the Surgery department(s) in the hospital. Overall a nice facility. Newer updates to the facility. ER stays pretty busy, but other units have a lot of low census times. Very traveler friendly, in fact travelers make up a good portion of the staff. The town is very secluded, and is a 2 hr drive to a mall. Extreme weather conditions in the mountains can make travel difficult outside of town. Housing is EXTREMELY difficult to find.
