  • I worked in the med surg department(s) in the hospital. this was my first assignment and overall it wasn't TERRIBLE, just could have been better in many ways. first of all, in the interview I was told it was a cardiac telemetry floor... It most certainly was not. it was a med/surg floor, and they slapped monitors on patients and called them "Tele".. also, having 6-7 patients was frustrating. The area was great though. The Woodlands is beautiful with tons of things to do. Don't think I would ever come back here, unfortunately. 11/12/2015
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was NA. Housing was located in city of Spring. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. I would have tried to find a place more north of Conroe, because once you get south of Conroe towards the Woodlands and Houston the price is out of control.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Pulled to a floor. Floor charge nurse threatened me. Did not orient me to the floor. Was not given any type of help whatsoever. Then was reported as trying to increase a PCA without an order -- they never read the orders or the nurse notes.... there was a physician order to increase and notes where the night MD was at bedside trying to help this traveler increase the pump because no one at the hospital knew how. Worst hospital ever. 09/16/2015
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private. Housing was located in city of Montgomery. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. N/A
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Great ER to work in, high acuity 05/20/2014
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was BUDDE. Housing was located in city of SPRING. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. GREAT APT
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. 38 bed ICU/CCU/Neuro ICU all combined in 1 big unit. Staff was pretty nice, assignments were decent, they have about 20 travelers right now. Almost done with a 13 week assignment and havent been floated to another unit yet. Would live in The Woodlands and commute to Conroe to work if I could do it again. Much more to do there and nicer area. Hospital itself is fine. Not great resources to care for really sick patients though. Made good money working with Parallon (All About Staffing) and took the housing stipend for sure. 04/07/2013
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was NA. Housing was located in city of Conroe. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
