  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Manager does her best to give you the work schedule you prefer. I was told I would never have more than 3 patients when floating to the floor and did have one issue where the assistant manager of one of the units tried to give me more patients repeatedly when two of my patients were fresh admits from the night shift. Other than that it was an overall positive experience. 04/21/2016
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private housing apartment. Housing was located in city of Cheyenne. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. I found my own housing. It was the basement of a house that was a fully furnished apartment. The people living above me were pleasant but refused to elevate the temperature of the building to remain comfortable when asked multiple times so I froze during the winter. They also smoke inside the house regularly even though the owner has asked them multiple times not to. Initially had a problem with bed bugs but the owner was quick to get the problem under control and eventually fixed. Currently having an issue with spiders-mainly being bitten by them. He is currently working on the issue. The place is nice, but the people upstairs are hard to live around.
  • I worked in the OPERATING ROOM department(s) in the hospital. My significant other and I were at this hospital for 13 weeks and both felt that we were never integrated into the group. We were the first travelers that they had used in a while and it was clear that we were to carry a big portion of the workload because permanent staff was burned out. The surgeons, for the most part, were very pleasant to work with. The cafeteria was very nice. Covered parking was available for staff. Cheyenne is a very pleasant old west town close enough to Denver that we could have a weekend in the big city. Lots to do if you like the outdoors. We travel with an RV so stayed in it in a nice campground. THis hospital has the potential to be a very nice hospital for travelers but missed the mark by quite a bit for us. 01/08/2016
