  • I worked in the Infusion Clinic department(s) in the hospital. Very small, one story hospital. All staff very friendly. Not a high tech hospital with all the latest bells and whistles. More laid back than many other places you may have worked. Parking is practically next to the building. Safe area to work/live. The area has many places to hike (in the Redwoods) and the you can go to the beach. Boating, surfing and whale watching are popular sports. Very small community. Windy mountainous roads to get in and out. Right on hwy 1 in N. Calif. Traffic low. Not the best restaurants in N. calif, and minimal shopping. But it sure is beautiful area to stay in for a while. Temperature does not get hot there, if you hate the heat. Climate is much like San francisco. Hospital uses a lot of travelers because of the remote location. 02/19/2017
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private rental. Housing was located in city of Fort Bragg. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Housing can be difficult in Ft Bragg. It is a small town, with only a few apartment complexes, and they are often housing many low income families. Better off contacting realtors in the area and asking about rentals. And this is Calif, so it is pricey. I was able to locate a few furnished vacation homes while here. Had to move a few times, but loved every place I stayed. Each near the beach, and one with a view from the living room.
  • I worked in the ccu department(s) in the hospital. poor housing community, lots of meth/ etoh abuse patients, remote, drop off for volitive psych patients, police was notified frequently 04/20/2016
  • The name of the housing complex was none. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. great nurses under appreciated
  • I worked in the CCU department(s) in the hospital. This was my first Travel assignment, and I loved it! The hospital is very small, and lacking some technology, but for me the staff and location totally made up for it!! Plus it was kind of nice to be in a small hospital for my first experience because it was less overwhelming. They are really laid back here, but they know what there doing. There is a huge since of teamwork there! Fort Bragg/Mendocino is a lovely place to visit, with ample things to do, and the pay was also good! The drive to the hospital is through the redwoods and vineyards, just breathtaking! I would and hope to go back!! 01/07/2014
  • The name of the housing complex was RV . Housing was located in city of Mendocino. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the OB department(s) in the hospital. Horrible place to work. Nurses think they know it all (scary)! The ONE OB provider is as scary as the nurses. Constantly floated to Med/surg, E.R. Glad I got out with my license intact! 02/04/2013
