  • I worked in the Neuro ICU and CVICU department(s) in the hospital. Love the unit I am on, nurse leadership is very supportive. Unfortunately Providence is going through contract disputes pending a possible strike, but besides that, morale at this hospital is great. Funky layout can get confusing but transport goes with you everywhere. All the staff have been helpful and welcoming. I’m hoping to extend here if they offer. 01/04/2020
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Britton Place. Housing was located in city of Lacey. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Unfurnished studio for $1370/month, there aren’t many furnished options around here. The complex is very nice and the apartment is definitely bougie enough for my taste.
  • I worked in the Ortho department(s) in the hospital. This was my favorite contract! The ortho floor was very welcoming and had great teamwork, although there's a lot of brand new nurses- the schedule is made to keep seasoned RNs working along with new hires and travelers equally. Travelers are first to float- but all of the med/surg floors are well staffed and had very reasonable nurse to patient ratios! Loved my time in WA! 02/16/2017
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Short term lodging . Housing was located in city of Downtown Olympia. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. http://www.shortstaylodgings.com
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. The hospital was beautiful, well staffed, and with all the modern technology you could ask for. That said, the staff was rather standoffish and unfriendly, and the morale was exceptionally low for whatever reason. Patient care was really very good, and the physicians were overall pleasant to work with. I declined to extend because of the low morale and constant (unfounded) complaints of the staff. Olympia is a small town, and unless you are very outdoorsy, there really isn't much to do in the area. 09/21/2016
  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was extended stay america. Housing was located in city of Tumwater . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. The extended stay america was only a 15 minute drive to the hospital and was a brand new complex, several travelers were staying there and I would absolutely recommend it.
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Found my own private rental on Craigslist. Housing was located in city of Olympia. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. 04/02/2011
