  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. My first day i was not introduced to anyone, even though she was showing me around she didn't formally introduce me as "the new traveler", I have been at this location for 3 months and I still have not been introduced to the OR Director With my shift it's considered second shift and I don't like the hours of call cause I can only do over night call and on my days off I'm on call so it's like still not having a full day to rest and I think it's pointless! If you are a exiled to work on a holiday you aren't working the hours that's in your contract you are working diff hours which was not discussed prior the staff is extremely nice and the doctors are very welcoming, a few doctors expressed how they like working the travelers more than the full time employees because of our expertise and then you have some doctors who don't wanna be bothered with travelers and will tell you to your face they don't want you in their room The nurses are very helpful but there is a lack of team work when it comes to the Scrubs but it's a a lot of scrubs who are extremely helpful and shows they appreciate Travelers 08/26/2016
