  • I worked in the Icu department(s) in the hospital. The day shift is much nicer and helpful on average. The meditech computers are not good at all and slow like dial up. Hard in an ICU. I don't mjnd cancelled but living far makes flex and on hold a pain. Twice I have had unfair assignments but almost all the charge nurses who aren't in staffing will help. The director seems very nice and most of the staff are nice. I wish orientation taught you a little more it was kind of one night and one day shadowing. But some stuff like equipment or more on the computer to practice would help. Not bad but depending on charge can be a bad night or good. Not a teaching hospital so easier in rhar sense. 10/23/2014
  • Housing was approximately 50 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Na. Housing was located in city of Na. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Stayed at my place too far a commute the holiday inn is good for nights and the sheraton for days cause of the black our curtains.
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. The ER is set up physically to make it easy to do your job. Everything is at your fingertips and the management is very supportive of their staff be they travelers or their own staff. Frederick is a town of enormous historical culture. Antiques, museums, close to many of the Civil War entities. Beautiful mountainous area of Md. surround the town in the valley. Very Safe and filled with nice resturants. 10/20/2007
  • Housing was approximately 1.8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Extended Stay. Housing was located in city of Frederick. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Had not one problem and was there for 10 months.
