  • I worked in the Orthopedic Surgical Unit department(s) in the hospital. The Orthopedic unit I worked on was very well organized and the manager of the floor was much involved with helping her nurses throughout the day. Scheduling was great, the doctors I worked with were friendly. I would definitely travel there again. 01/31/2018
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Basswood Condos. Housing was located in city of Florence. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. The housing was nearly brand new, about 5 miles from work. The condos are big and spacious and clean. They do come furnished but it's cheaper to furnish yourself.
  • I worked in the NICU department(s) in the hospital. Very old equipment, no backup for equipment failures, morale is horrible! Staff constantly fighting each other and talking about each other. Very old unit with isolette/bassinettes crammed next to each other. No room for privacy of family visits. HIPPA violations are rampant. Serious issues with infection control requiring visits from Dept of Health. Staff extremely overworked and forced to take ton of call shifts. Travelers are given heavy loads without acuity being considered. 10/22/2017
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Mostly hotels, few otptions. Housing was located in city of Florence. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Hotels are only options and cost $2600/month and higher! Outrageous prices for housing. Only way to make from this contract is either live close enough to commute or bring your RV!
  • I worked in the Case Management department(s) in the hospital. I have just discovered this site and my assignment was in 2014 at McCleod Hospital. The hospital was really nice and going through some renovations. The CM dept was nice but could have been a little more helpful. There were a lot of travelers in the dept. I enjoyed the 13 week assignment and would go back if needed. But I had to bring my motorhome down to live in. Not much for the supply of housing, at least the travel agency that I was working with. For the most part I enjoyed myself. 08/28/2016
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was can't remember. Housing was located in city of Florence. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. It was a motel efficiency with lots of working people coming and going. Preferred my motorhome.
  • Housing was approximately Unknown mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Paul. Housing was located in city of Unknown. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. 04/02/2007
  • I work in the operating room and I WOULD not RECOMMEND FOR AN INEXPERIENCED OR 1ST TIME TRAVELER. The apartments were called Brittany Place Apartments about 2 miles from the hospital. I would rate them a 4. Nice place gated community swimming pool fitness room air conditioned, balcony with storage area.
