  • I worked in the ICU and Stepdown department(s) in the hospital. This is an awesome facility to work at. I worked in ICU and Stepdown. In the ICU the staff is so helpful and super nice (some of them. There were maybe 2 or 3 I could've done without) the patient load is not tad. You get an hour lunch break plus a 15. It's self scheduling so I never had an issue with my work schedule except towards the end of my contract I got canceled A LOT. beware of that census gets terribly low sometimes but when it's high business is booming. The Stepdown was ok the staff ws friendly enough but not as helpful. I loved this facility sand definitely recommend it. (3/1/2016) 03/11/2016
  • Housing was approximately 4.0 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Marina 41. Housing was located in city of Marina Del Rey. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. It's a nice complex, pet friendly nice amenities, it's expensive but not as expensive as Santa Monica. The noise is minimal and the staff is friendly. Steps away from Venice beach and a mile from Abbot Kinney. There are several apartment complexes around the marina and some offer month to month leases. But beware is pricey around
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. The housing is very expensive, traffic plain awful and pay poor. The location is awesome, close to the ocean nice community amenities. The patients are form ALL walks of life, many speak Farsi (Iran and Iraq). The big problem is making money with so much of your income spent on really poor housing. 03/05/2015
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was 1835 20th street. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Zuma housing was the company I used. Do NOT take a unit until you see it. There was mold on over 1/2 the bathroom ceiling. The slider window could have fallen out and clothes rod broken. This 3rd world housing was $1650/ month. Simply put, housing is so expensive and poor it makes the assignment a bust.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Out of all the traveling hospitals I have been to, this one was towards the top. I was never pulled. Everyone was kind and helpful. I'd go back for another assignment. 01/19/2007
  • Housing was approximately 9.2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was I stayed at Camden Fallsgrove Apt. Housing was located in city of Rockville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. The complex was very nice, however, the parking was terrible. You didn't have an assigned space and a majority of the time, I had to park on the complete opposite of where my apt was located...FYI: I stayed here over the winter season.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Peachtree courts. Housing was located in city of Westwood. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
  • I took the stipend and found kmy own housing.
