  • although many very dedicated excellent nurses and staff, it is short staffed and the management at present is poor with little support to the nurses. (or so it seems) very busy with fairly high pt/nurse ratio.(don't underestimate how busy you are at a smal community hospital!)time not done that well. hospital expanding ed, hopefully staffing will expand with it. food not bad at the coffee shop although you rarely get a dinner/lunch break to try it.
  • I worked in the ed department(s) in the hospital. Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was cambridge estates. Housing was located in city of norwich. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. older complex, would not have chosen here to stay. not a bad area.. one bedroom in a building that looks like a motel. strong cig. smoke smell in the building. br filthy, kitchen not that clean.(although manager did apologize profusely and gave a 10dollar washer card.., offered to get it cleaned) laundry room next to apt so you hear folks in there all the time. otherwise fairly quiet above tenant. did have a good houseware package.. furniture not bad.. saving grace was that it was newly painted and had a brand new carpet. think there were a few nicer places around. would rate it fair...
