  • I worked in the NICU department(s) in the hospital. Worst experience ever as a traveler. Long (48hours) orientation with a hostile preceptor. Was criticized and accused of not being able to do even the most basic skills correctly. Care of the pts was also questionable. Seemed to be very behind in areas such as developmentally appropriate care. Nurses at the bedside of contact isolation patients without wearing the required gowns and gloves. One infant had the pacifier tied in it's mouth using the straps of a cpap hat. Mgmt did not care to listen to my side of the story when preceptor stated she had concerns about my ability to care for pt. Would not recommend. 09/30/2017
  • Housing was approximately NA mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was NA. Housing was located in city of NA. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I found my own housing.
  • I worked in the ICU Float department(s) in the hospital. Travelers, 2 words: DO NOT!! This place is a joke & the most hostile environment to work in, if you are any race BESIDES Phillipeano. I was offered an extension, with more money and I refused. I would rather work somewhere else or no where at all. The "support staff" would straight tell you "NO" when asked for assistance to turn, clean, etc patients. There is no accountability and they know it. The only people with half a brain are the MD's. If you decide to work at Bellevue, get ready to enjoy 13 weeks of misery. 02/01/2015
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was HOTEL. Housing was located in city of SECAUCUS. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Enjoy waking up at 4:30am for your 7am shift. The commute is over an hour because the travel company is too cheap to house their travelers in a decent vicinity to work.
  • It took a long time to feel like I was accepted. They definitely make you prove yourself, more than any other facility I've been at.
  • I worked in the Labor and Delivery department(s) in the hospital. Housing was approximately .25 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was random apt building. Housing was located in city of New York. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
