  • I worked in the OB- L and D department(s) in the hospital. 1. Absolutely no orientation, none! Not for the EMR, c-section procedures, docs, delivery procedures, medication dispensing or documentation system 2. Very unsafe nurse:patient ratios- at times providers were delivering BY THEMSELVES WITH OUT A NURSE!! 3. Management was pathetic, completely satisfied with unsafe practices i.e. epidural fentanyl bags leftover from epidurals, wasted down the sink with no witnesses or documentation of wastage- could have easily been stolen. 12/06/2017
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was none. Housing was located in city of Chicago. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I was close enough to the hospital that I did not utilize housing. This hospital is in the south side of Chicago in a very bad area of the city. Lots of gang activity, shootings and other criminal activities.
