  • I worked in the PCU department(s) in the hospital. This facility had unsafe staffing ratio's. Pt's lives were put in danger on a regular basis due to this issue. Management was not willing to make any necessary changes to address these issues. Would not recommend this facility to anyone who is interested in providing excellent patient care or wants to keep their nursing license. 09/09/2017
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Woodspring Suites. Housing was located in city of Fargo. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. New building, next to a truck stop, so there were alot of women of the night around. Theft was also an issue.
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. First positive assignment I've had. The staff is similar to a close knit family. Everybody is willing and eager to help, they treat you as one of their own. As a smaller hospital it was interesting to see how they handle busy days and as the community grows I'm sure their department will as well. If you've had bad assignments I recommend heading to this ED where you'll have a mix of slow and very busy days, and a chance to actually further your skills. For it being a small ED they do see complicated and acute patients. The city of Vacaville is small however it's in between Sacramento and San Francisco so you'll never be bored. There's also a premium outlet in the city so you can shop on your days of. Scheduling was great and very flexible. I never really ate at the cafeteria so I can't speak on that. Parking for the hospital is not hard to find and free. 04/21/2017
