  • I worked in the EP/CATH LAB department(s) in the hospital. The staff in this department are passive aggressive and completely unwelcoming to travelers. The EP Team Lead is a micro managing, unprofessional and inappropriate male nurse. He calls people 'kiddo' 'honey' 'sweetie' 'baby'....completely demeaning and when asked to not use nicknames, he laughs and says its just what he does. There are a few staff that are so intensely negative and nasty, I didn't have a conversation with anyone for weeks. I kept to myself, did my job, and went home. Not a good place to work and not nice people. 09/18/2017
  • Housing was approximately n/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was n/a. Housing was located in city of n/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1.
  • I worked in the CVICU and floated to 28 different departments in all hospital towers department(s) in the hospital. Great staff, parking is 6 blocks away if working days but right across the street for night shifters, hired as cvicu but first to float so floated to 28 different unit/floors throughout the facility. Being floated is better then being sent home but wanted to work in the unit here to learn more about transplants. Overall I would renew here if I wasn't floated so much to the floor. Pt load was 1:2 in the units and never tripled which was awesome, floor ratio was 1:4 or 1:5 at times. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Love the people of Nebraska, they really love their Huskers :) 08/28/2017
  • Housing was approximately na mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was self found. Housing was located in city of na. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. NA
  • I worked in the Neuro Med/Surg department(s) in the hospital. 3 days on floor orientation, very friendly management and staff. Employees were always willing to answer questions or lend a helping hand. Only complaint is parking. When I went to sign up (and unfortunately pay) for a parking pass, the closest parking lot was Lot 63, which was several (5-6) blocks away from the hospital, and in a sketchy area (Leavenworth). No shuttle bus available, never saw security in the lot. If you park in the wrong area you incur a VERY expensive fine. Averaged 4 patients on Neuro Med/Surg, which was an acceptable workload. 01/26/2017
  • Housing was approximately n/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was n/a. Housing was located in city of Omaha. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. n/a
