  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Staffing turnover is high. Icu work load is unheard of. 3:1 pts happens often also changing of assignments happens often. Core staff is great despite their situation. Changes would help keep staff. Pay needs to be higher for higher work load. Texas or not. Breaks are not easy. Saying you didnt take lunch is shunned. Core staff does not break often. Many restaurants are close. Good ones. Housing:craigslist. Completing assignments there should have bonus. Hospital is super busy. There is no room For niceties from transferring staff due to expectations and policies. Er travel nurses seemed unhappy. First assignment here. Will be last. 10/21/2018

REALLY nice complex, had lots of activities for residents, resort-style pool, gated, beautiful landscaping. A little pricey, but nice place to live.
