  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to travelers, especially first time travelers. Not with what the LA area has to offer. Very high incidence of bullying and they are under the impression that they are on of the top ICUs in the state and that travelers are all a burden. Charge nurses will modify your charting without your permission, and there is a high incidence of falsified charting that goes on there for billing purposes etc. Supervisors such as Jesse, Margarita, and Suma all threaten travelers to comply with fraudulent activity. I definitely wouldn't recommend this facility. Not worth the stress. Moreover, they cancelled a lot of people's contracts with no warnings to the travel nurse agencies or nurse. Many nurses were coming in for a shift to find out they were no longer needed and told "not to come back cause they were cancelled" and then when the agency reached out the unit told them they cancelled. Very sketchy place, can't wait to get out. 04/05/2021
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Air BNB. Housing was located in city of Glendale. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. NA
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. I worked in the ED, Always short staffed, unsafe nursing and getting dumped on is the norm, bullying by staff especially Bobby-the Charge Nurse. Most of the staff hate travelers because they are under paid and this leads to animosity towards travelers. Lots of new grads and RN's transitioning from MedSurg with less than 1 year ED experience. Assignment is horrible, team nursing is what they do, so most staff will not pick patients in critical conditions, they rather hide or will act busy and not sign up for patient. No Help from staff and Techs only do EKGs and sometimes cleans beds. Direct bedding is the rule, even if patient is not in a critical condition and does not meet requirements for direct bedding. BTW, this place gets sued all the time and management is horrible. Please stay away for the sake of you RN license, your sanity and family. been a traveler for 4 years, and this is the worst place I have ever worked at. worked here in 05/2016 09/08/2016
