- I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. We were double charting for months as computer, cerner went live, the unit should have been remodeled in the 90's, decorated in early grey hound buss decor. Very poor control of visitors, I have seen 28 visitors in one room. Staff fighting to give adequate pt care despite being constrained by huge greedy corporate overhead. The pt's are Spanish speaking but not that hard to find someone to translate. No house officer at night have to call the md. Large 38 bed icu, vents , drips, pharmacy slow, lots of locked doors, Pyxis delays for witnesses, work a code per shift, maybe more, never floated, overhead music at night repeats till you've memorized it. 12/03/2014

The kitchen was outdated , carpet very worn, had space saver washer and drier, outside storage area. gated parking a pain, - I worked in the Med Surg/Tele department(s) in the hospital. Overworked and too much unnecessary documentation. No need to worry about delegating tasks because here they expect you to be RN/LVN/CNA and unit clerk all in one. 02/11/2008

It is anb older hospital, small and family atmosphere.Good people. Not high tech but will be building a new place in the next few yrs. - Hold patients and procedures were horrible. You have to know the ER paperwork and the med-surg paperwork. You receive a 4 hour orientation with a secretary. The doctors were horrible. I would drive by if I was bleeding to death.

On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. public assisted housing...........not a gated community though they advertise as one...........apartment filthy though we did not have to put down a deposit............really rough on allergies......
