  • I worked in the PCU department(s) in the hospital. The morale on this unit was so bad that it was hard to even go to work each day. The ratio was 4:1 but the patient acuity was such that it could be far too much to have 4 patients. I felt this was a safety issue and worried constantly. 03/18/2017
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private apt. Housing was located in city of Rapid City. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Utilities were very expensive
  • I worked in the ONS department(s) in the hospital. I enjoyed this hospital, everyone here is so laid back. I did however not enjoy using their charting system, Meditech. The staff on this floor is so helpful and talk alot about teamwork which I feel is absolutely necessary. There was almost always someone there to help with admissions and discharges which was a lifesaver to me. Patient ratio was not bad either, they shoot for 4:1 but occasionally you will have 5:1. 05/05/2016
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Prairie Tree Apartments. Housing was located in city of Rapid City. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Pet friendly, secured entry apartments, updated, not much noise, safe neighborhood, and very nice staff.
