  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. 06/21/2019
  • Housing was approximately 13 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Home2Suites. Housing was located in city of Duncan. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I travel with a small pup. Most of the hotels did not accept pets. Home2suites didn’t offer a descent discount being a healthcare worker so housing was pricey. Solo travelers found descent pricing in Spartanburg
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. This has been the most welcoming staff, especially night shift. They were helpful, friendly, and included me in all activities. The morale was so-so as they had been merged with a larger facility and were undergoing many changes. Still I was treated wonderfully. My schedule was awesome as they scheduled all my days together and I was able to travel home for 3 days/week if I chose to. By far the best experience I've had since I began traveling again, 1 year ago 05/01/2019
  • Housing was approximately 13 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Home2 Suites. Housing was located in city of Duncan. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. pet friendly and the manager offered me a discounted price being a nurse. The rooms are spacious and always very clean.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Nursing and management staff extremely traveler friendly. Orientation was one-on-one computer training. Some technology needs updated, but overall had a good experience and only floated twice to ER to assist (no patient load). They had an ice cream party and breakfast for me when I left! 07/09/2016
  • Housing was approximately 12 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Gaffney KOA Campground. Housing was located in city of Gaffney. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. RV site was good. Dog park for puppies was great! Very friendly staff. Onsite cabins for rent as well.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. I would definitely go back. The only reason I didn't extend was I had a good opportunity to travel with a friend somewhere else (I live in SC) It's a small Hospital, and with that you have the home/family feel. They put you in the rotation when they are not staffed and you have to take either 3 ICU patients or you get the overflows. They are always Fair, and go through the rotation. Travelers do not get dumped on here. The staff is always willing to help and jump in when they can. The management so far is the best that I've seen. The nurse manager will jump in as much as she can between her meetings. She will help you do Baths 05/04/2016
  • Housing was approximately N/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/a. Housing was located in city of N/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I didn't have to find housing. I paid cousins rent. Spartanburg is 30-45min from Greenville, SC which has a lot to do. Spartanburg is a cute little town, with a very photogenic downtown if like photography.
