  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. I enjoyed working with many of the staff in their ER, but the co-workers who were difficult, were very difficult. Most of the docs were great, but the ones who were difficult, again, were very difficult. There was a change in management when I worked there and some of the bad ones may have left recently. I did not know until I had moved 700 miles from home, that my hiring was dependent upon passing the PBDS. Their computer system was EPIC, which was great. One of the night charge nurses always assigned me to their 6-bed locked psych unit, because I was a traveler and nobody else wanted the assignment. It was not uncommon for me to be alone with six ER psych patients who were supposed to be sleeping, but weren't. I worked hard to try to keep police on the unit. 04/30/2016
  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was family. Housing was located in city of Cleveland Heights. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. The hospital is in an unsafe area. Cleveland is a large city, but the hospital is close to the freeway system, so it doesn't take more than 15-30 minutes to drive there from many safe areas. A physician friend rode her bike eight miles to her office close to the hospital every day.
