  • I worked in the PCU department(s) in the hospital. I loved this hospital! It is very small (56 beds on 1 floor) so you get to know all the staff very quickly. Management and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Patient population is mostly caths/CABGs/AVRs, but hospital also has an ED and admits. I rated the cafeteria a 1 because it's closed for night shift, but there is an excellent market next door that is open late. The patients here are generally very happy with their stay and the hospital seems to have a great reputation. Meditech, 5:1 ratio, CNAs 8:1 and also do labs and EKG, great workflow. 04/29/2016
  • Housing was approximately 14 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Airbnb. Housing was located in city of Austin. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Would take company housing if offered, difficult to find reasonable rent in the area.
