  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Most of the staff is traveler friendly - there were a few who would outwardly talk about how horrible travelers were and we are only here bc we couldn't get a staff job anywhere (if you work ICU, I bet you can guess which ICU this was in). Staff morale is pretty bad against the hospital, I guess they are going through a rough management and administration change. But towards myself and my boyfriend (fellow traveler), they have been kind and helpful. For the most part, they haven't lived up to the "level 1 trauma" category. The first 10 weeks there was potentially one, MAYBE 2, vents on 12 bed unit. And most were awake and weaning. Which is hard coming from a very high acuity facility, I definitely feel like I am losing a LOT of my skill 03/08/2016
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Cierra Crest. Housing was located in city of DTC. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. company put us up on the complete opposite side of town, but I'm comfortable there and love the area - much more to do than the area of the hospital, which I can't dock the facility for anyway. Denver is a great place, doesn't pay well, but there is always something to do and skiing is only about 45min-1hr away at Loveland, Keystone, and Winter Park
