  • I worked in the Care Management department(s) in the hospital. Their other traveler case manager extended her contract 3 months & staff was notified the Monday I started at 0800. This means they knew they did not need another traveler at the very least the Friday before I started. Did not have me scheduled for their computer orientation until day 4. No computer access until 3 pm day 2 & then not to all programs. issued me a phone day 2 but it did not work to even make or take calls. Could have cancelled me before I started since they no longer needed another traveler but chose to tell me day 3 that I was incompetent. Had to pay 3 months in advance for housing totalling just over $14,000 that I lost because I could not cancel the housing lease. This is next to wine country wildfires so no one wants to rent for only 3 months, Extended stay hotels over $180.00 per night - way over my housing allowance. 11/26/2017
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Eves San rafael. Housing was located in city of san rafael. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Would only rent to me for 3 months if I paid the full 3 months rent prior to move in. Refused to break the lease when job tanked.
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. A very angry and closed minded group of people, I'm actually surprised they haven't had more deaths and sentinel events than they did in the 6 mos I was there. They would rather do something wrong, non-compliant and unsafe than listen to the logic from a traveler. There are a lot of hostile people and they use the union as a way to skate the system. The only place I have ever lost money on a contract because the travelers are actually paid less than the fte. Also my weekly paycheck was wrong more often than not. 12/22/2016
  • Housing was approximately 25 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was not applicable. Housing was located in city of Petaluma. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Housing was found by the Travelers Haven
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. This hospital topped my list of "never agains". The staff is among the unfriendliest I've ever encountered. Also among the highest paid and most chronically underworked. The ER is a congested area with no attention paid to comfort (no chairs for RN's). Throughput is a complicated and difficult process due to paper charting and hospital systems. Can NOT recommend this ER unless you have steel feet and rhino skin. 04/15/2015
  • Housing was approximately N/A mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/A. Housing was located in city of N/A. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Housing not used
  • I worked in the OR at Marin. I found them to be very friendly with travelers and to have great team work. I would definitely recommend it as a place to work. It is also located in a wonderful area not to far from San Francisco. Their department orientation is very brief, but I sort of like that.
