  • I worked in the PCU department(s) in the hospital. The manager lied about nurse to patient ratios in my phone interview. The day shift charge does scheduling, no self scheduling and put me every weekend and 6 Sunday's in a row while staff had the weekends off. Equipment is old and Cerner is very outdated. I didn't even meet my manager until I was there for 6 weeks. The charge nurses don't take patients and the DO NOT help at all. I work pm shift and we get 5 pts regularly with several admits each night. These patients are on many drips and its quite difficult . No one assists in admission process and all med orders are on paper,.yes you fax then to pharmacy. The staff is very disgruntled and always complaining, as they have every right to. You will barely get your dinner break as the charge nurses could care less. Thus is one of the worse hospitals I have ever traveled to. Many travelers cancel their contracts early. 10/14/2015
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private. Housing was located in city of tucson. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I rented a room share from a guy named Kurt off Craig's list. DO NOT rent from this msn! ! He claims to cater to travelers. Me and the other travesty moved. He's very weird, sells old cars at the rental house to craigslist people, shows up unannounced constantly, begs for rent money early., doesn't make repairs and the beds are horrible.
