  • Housing was approximately n/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/a. Housing was located in city of n/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I did not take the company housing
  • I worked in the float department(s) in the hospital. I didn't take the provided housing. The staff was incredibly nice and traveler friendly. Sometimes the nurse to patient ratio was a little too high, and if you don't stick up for yourself and your license they will walk all over you. The hospital as a whole is very understaffed, so you will get calls pretty much every day asking you to work OT. 02/28/2015
  • Housing was approximately n/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was n/a. Housing was located in city of n/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. I didn't take the provided housing
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Patients and staff overall were nice and easy to deal with. As with most facitities just a handfull of bad apples that can literally make your life miserable. Seems to be More concern over little personal issues rather than ensuring equipment works, code cart is stocked and functional or schedule is conducive to patient load for certain days or known high peak times. Alot of passive aggressive negativity. 02/15/2015
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was unknown. Housing was located in city of scottsdale . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. none
  • I worked in the MS 3B department(s) in the hospital. The unit most of the time is very busy, nights at 7pm you start with 4-5patients, at 11pm you go up to 5-6 patients. They have CNA's. High turnover among staff. Takes long time to get lab results and equipment to the floor, radiology results more then 24hrs. We get remote telemetry patients, which was not mentioned to me in the interview with the nurse manager. The staff is not telemetry certified. They have rapid response team, lift team on days, admission nurse and secretary clerk on night to help with new orders. The staff on the unit is very friendly and helpfull. They use computerized charting. They have big parking garage, you just have to walk across. Cafeteria/grill open until 2am. My patient called Scottsdale Healthcare 'The Hilton" compared to other hospitals in the area. 02/09/2008
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Carlos Apartments. Housing was located in city of Scottsdale. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. The apartment complex is very simple with basic amenities and furniture, it's located in very quiet area. For younger traveler there is not a lot to do. Would probably have to go to Phoenix. The area itself is very pretty, close to hospital, 10minutes drive to Mc Dowell Mountains with hiking trails, downtown Scottsdale with many stores, shops, restaurants, lovely area.
  • I worked in the labor and delivery department(s) in the hospital. The staff was very snobby. Rude to new employees. The supervisors were nasty too. I wouldn't work here or recommend it if you paid me a million dollars. 11/24/2007
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Red Rox. Housing was located in city of Phoenix. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Housing was very nice, gated. In a bad location but it had a very safe feel to it. Two swimming pools, weight room, friendly staff and tennants. It was close to all major highways.
  • I worked in the neuro, ortho department(s) in the hospital. The staff was friendly but also had their cliques, the nursing assistants were very immature and the supervisor didn't see a problem with that. Not enough help on a very heavy floor majority of the time it was total patient care. 08/29/2006
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was San Tropez. Housing was located in city of Scottsdale. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. The parking sucks if you travel with someone else and they have a car too not enough spaces for visitors. The apartment was old the appliances was old. The blinds were falling off. If they would update the apartments it would actually be really nice.
  • This hospital claims to be traveler friendly when in fact they are most definitly not. There is not enough adequate acillary staff (ie: CNA, Transport ect ) to support nurses so they can do there work. If your looking for team nursing you wont find it here.
  • I worked in the float pool department(s) in the hospital. Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Cant remember. Housing was located in city of Scottsdale. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1.
  • I worked in the float pool department(s) in the hospital. Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was camlaro. Housing was located in city of scottsdale. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2.
