  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. This was the worst ER that I have worked at in 20yrs of nursing. The management of the dept has a very derogatory treatment of their own staff and they treat travelers worse. If you are not in "the in group" you will end up with the most patients or the worst. I have seen nurse with one patient or none while another had 5. Same nurse yelled across the ER to give med to a pt that was reading while the nurse with 5 had a critical one on one. The final straw was asking then yelling for help with a coding pt and not receiving any because you were a traveler. It wasn't until the ER Dr was standing yelling in the hallway for help before any showed up. They treat their staff the same way. 05/07/2017
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was 3011. Housing was located in city of Hallandale Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. There are several motels or short term rentals. You have to shop around to find one to fit your standards.
  • I worked in the Cath lab department(s) in the hospital. No control over workload, Director told several staff members, "that's the way it is here, if you don't like it then go somewhere else, because it will not change". Never able to take lunch when cafeteria open or take lunch at all, food was not even pleasant to look at. Not staff friendly, Charge Nurse treated staff terrible. 06/03/2015
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Apartments. Housing was located in city of Hallendale Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. First was in hotel 45 minutes away, then moved to outdated apartments in not so safe of a place to live. If anything could be wrong with a travel assignment, it was. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Although, majority of staff were friendly, Management was not, but then, it is an HCA Facility. Which, I will never, take another assignment at an HCA Hospital in Florida again.
